Lakes Management

Lake Management plans are most often requested by lakefront property owners because of increased development new public access which brings about increased lake usage and a corresponding increase in user conflict.

  • The Christiansen Lake Management Plan supersedes the recommendations of the Talkeetna Comprehensive Plan (with respect to Christiansen Lake).

  • The Fish and Numbered (#) Lakes Recreational Management Plan represents a strong and broad community consensus on residents' value of their access to outdoor recreation and natural areas, and their desire to hold onto these opportunities into the future.
